Front to rear fade adjustment not working

Front to rear fade adjustment not working

Using the up and down buttons works on all the other functions (bass, treble, balance etc) but nothing works on fade f to r

Stereo pic attached.....

Any ideas?

Have you got access to PP2000, as you can activate the fader function in there - its because it thinks there are no rear speakers :roll:

My old 406 once forgot it had rear speakers, I had to activate them again.....

PP2000 user, can help with faults / diagnostics in the Bournemouth area.

Unfortunately not, is it downloadable from anywhere?

How does a radio forget it's got rear speakers lol............. It is getting a bit old mind you LOL :)

You need the PP2000 hardware, so even though you'll probably find the software online you're not closer to a solution. There may be someone near you with PP2000 (it is the same hardware for citroen-cars), but otherwise you could consider ordering one online. They're not too expensive, and they make a *lot* of sense with a 406, since they can access some of the computers that generic testers usually can't.
