Fitting a Bluetooth radio to an executive with jbl amp

Post by bigstevemex »

Hi all
I'm back in the 406 fold after being away for 4 years.
I have just bought a2001 executive estate and want to put in a Bluetooth radio but don't know if the one I have will be ok with the jbl equipment.
Thanks in advance

Not sure, but I think you will have problems with the signal levels. I tried fitting a Parrot phone kit, but even with their recommended adapter, it wasn't possible to reduce the volume enough through the JBL amp. Since it was only for the phone, I just used a separate speaker.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
