Hi All,
is anyone here from Bristol got a PP2000 or Diagbox? and willing to help me with this minor issue,
my original 406 CD stopped working, so put Clarion basic radio from my other car (Citroen C3) but obviously
get a beeping sound as it is linked with C3's VIN number, this video shows how easy to fix this is, as long as you have the right OBD tool and software..

just copy/paste 406's VIN number - and job done!
bottle of whisky or some beers to who can help me sort this out by Thursday....

Hi Matt - did you find someone up to the job?
If you had more time you could have posted the stereo to a PP2K user to then install the correct VIN onto the stereo - however I guess this isn't an option at the moment.
I'm in Bournemouth, which isn't a million miles away but still a good 2 hours - if you are properly stuck then I'm happy to meet you part way?
The process of changing the stereo VIN is pretty straightforward and only takes a few minutes.
