Re: wikipedia?
If my aged pensioners memory serves, I think there was a link at one time.
The Wikipedia entry is crap anyway. They say there was no intention to replace the 405, and the 306 sedan and 605 would each cover the market from below and above. What crap. If that's the case, why did the 406 come on stream a year before the 405 saloon ceased production, and two years before the 405 estate was finally deleted.
Indeed, Peugeot articles on Wikipedia seem to be poop all round. The 306 one reckons the sedans rear suspension was superior to the 405s, though I can't see how a trailing beam is better than semi IRS? They used to also claim the DTurbo was the worlds first diesel hot hatch, but I seem to remember owning a MKII Golf GTD in the decade before the 306 was even launched.
It's the last place I'd go to find a fact. Indeed, they can't even spell - The name should be Wikipaedia, if they've stolen part of the word encyclopaedia. Bloody yanks.

Re: wikipedia?
Half the time I look at the 309 entry, it claims it was the replacement to the Talbot Horizon. The other half, it claims this is an urban myth.
