Just got back from a lunchtime outing to the stealers and Mein Gott! They actually had stuff in stock! Got an oil filter (eurocarparts' ones are thimble-sized in comparison to the real deal) and 2 of the 3 O-rings I need! Forgot to ask about a spare inlet manifold gasket though but hey...

Picked up a couple of misc packs of O rings from eurocarparts along with a fuel filter, and spotted that hanging up to the side of the counter they had a pack of GM spring-lock coupling tools! They appear to be about £10 and a snap-on plastic collar with an inner bit which wraps around the male fitting and is pushed into the connection to spread the spring. I'll have a crack at it tonight with a screwdriver, but I know I have the tool option available now

Reckon this might actually be doable! (providing I can break the corrosion and get the pipe in and out without having to pull off the brake pipes)

Be careful with the pack of O-rings I know that if they're not absolutely perfect they will leak :x
