406 Arm rests

Post by Neilspencer »

Anybody know why some 406's have arm rests and other dont? Doesn't seem to relate to model types and in my search for a 405 upgrade I always fancied the armchair approach.

See the LX vs GLX thread... Peugeot trim levels are not exactly black and white. AFAIK armrests only come in leather flavour, correct me if I'm wrong, therefore you'd need to scrounge up some leather seats which'd probly have them anyway :)

Early D9 LX (like mine - think between late 1999 and late 2001) have cloth seats but no armrests. Later D9 LX (2002 onwards) have cloth seats with matching cloth armrests, fog lights, all-electric windows, single-slot CD player, etc etc...
2002 (D9) Peugeot 406 Coupe SE, 2.2 litre Petrol. Scarlet Red/Rouge Ecarlate/Rosso Scarlatto. Black Leather interior. SOLD :(
2008 (E60 LCI) BMW 525i M-Sport, 3.0 litre Petrol. Carbonschwarz Metallic. Black Dakota Leather and Myrtlewood interior.

No problem, Polski 8)

Just get yourself a c/c stalk, on-off switch, brake & clutch pedal switches, wire it all up & let me know. Then you can either pop round here & I'll enable it for you, or sponsor Doggy's pan-European tour & I'll stop by & sort it. :cheesy:

(Well, maybe, never actually done one, but never mind, if not, at least you can have the ultra-rare auto rear wiper feature). :P

I would need a rear wiper for that, mine gave up the ghost about 4 months ago, took it off to repair it, knacked it good and proper threw it in the bin covered hole with gaffa tape, jobs a good un

Incidentally, has anyone ever seen a 406 saloon with rear washer/wiper? I saw a photo of one that was posted here, but has anyone ever actually encountered one? In what rare circumstances were they featured?
