Seemed like Fraud's biggest f*ck-up when it appeared, fortunately it didn't last long and, thanks to poor build quality and to poor sales 'cos everyone else hated it, you don't see many about. In fact I see far more Mk2 Grannies than any others here, plus the odd Mk1 coupé

NOT ME

Actually I am always surprised when I register on a forum or online game where the name Highlander hasn't already been taken. Damn it, there's only supposed to be one, and I wanted that to be me :(

Curiously enough, what is referred to these days as a kilt is in fact an English invention (a man named Thomas Rawlinson).

The original garment was known as a feilidh-mor, which is a two-piece tartan wrap worn over normal leather/hide trousers and a jerkin, and was used both as additional warmth, and to show which clan you belonged to (or supported, if your clan was not prominent enough to have its own tartan).

The current kilt is a modern interpretation of the feilidh-beag, which was the lower part of the feilidh-mor (the part that went over your trousers).

Fraud has had its own share of absolute mingers especially their us cars like the taurus, and some absolutley woeful dung which was nothing less than badge engineered jap crap. And then there was the mk5 escort rubbish both on the outside and inside, even the fusion was capable of making people cry. But the worst sort of car is an ugly sports car:
This thing actually competed against the 406 coupe, if anyone bought one they were mad:

And the old grannies favourite has to be included, not only is it ugly but i suspect its the drivers of cars like this that park beside my car open the door and leave them dents in my car, my passenger side door is a different shape from what peugeot made it because of this hateful lump:

THE UGLIEST CAR IN THE WORLD

Im on a role here and cant stop naming these ugly cars, so my dads old car must go down here. After 4 years of an audi 80 which was about the most decent car he had with its electric windows, fancy gagues, digital stuff, a carphone, and a concept called reliability the metro he drove before it just didnt have. For some absolutley mad reason he sold the audi and bought this:

I will admit this car in the 10 years he drove it never broke down, but neither did the audi and the audi was a nice car, this wasnt nice, everything was terrible it looked ugly, it smelt of cheap plastic, it was slow and loud, and it didnt even have tonnes of equipment to compensate there was even manual window winders and indicator stalks on the wrong side.

Holy sh*t man, someone pass me the mind-bleach :frown:

The Carina's are very much favoured by the Asian community of Leicester. There's quite a demand for the things and apparently they are THE best cheap car to have in terms of reliability and generally not having to spend a penny on the thing :|

Here's a car you can hate with a passion, it's a 1.7 non-turbo diesel Astra Estate; my last company had one as a kinda pool-car-shitter and driving it even made you feel depressed.................
(this is the only pic I could find so even the internet doesn't want to see the miserable thing

As a slight bonus I accidentally found a Corsa ESTATE

I dont doubt the reliability of the carina, in fact i do know the things go on forever but they are very very bland cars, my dad bought this after the audi, the audi was some fast petrol model with 3 dials beside the gearstick and all the extras then came the carina with its hard plastics, windy windows and terrible looks.
