Bonnet bra's...

Has anyone noticed that more and more people are putting bonnet bra's on shite cars/vans etc?

I've seen Corsa's (not tastefully modified either, just white rusting things), transits, small vans etc all with them on and it makes me laugh.

I first saw a bra on the tastefully modified VW's at dubfest and it seems people are taking the p*ss lol

bah, I've never seen the point in them at all to be honest, but that's just me.

Saves on the stone chips but holds crap on the paint so it wears it off anyway

I just p*ss my self laughing everytime someone goes past in a crappy old munter of a car with a bonnet bra.

Oh gawd, talking of useless modifications, I hope i don't offend the person in question but there is 406 covered in about 10,000 pieces stick on tat and covered in black and yellow tape. The guy in question drives around Newcastle. Everytime I see him, he's driving, I wish I could take a picture

As far as I know, the Bra's were designed (by Americans) to use whilst travelling to shows and meets; upon arrival at which one would remove one's Bra to reveal the perfectly smooth bodywork underneath. Of course, if the miss-use of Bra's in the UK has lead to them being used to cover not-so-perfect bodies then this is a sham.

Similarly displaying one's Bra in public can be seen to be akin to attention-seeking and unnecessary. I would call for all Bra's to be removed letting us see the condition of the bodies for ourselves, so that we can make informed choices and such.
