How many are left

Im interested to know how many 406s are left driving on the uk roads, i see about 500 for sale on autotrader but thats just ones for sale, how can i find out the number still registered. It would be interesting to see, and also to see how many 505s are knocking about, and if any alfa arnas are still even in exhistance

505s are bugger all left. Pity because the old 505 estate was one of the best 7 seaters (or maybe 8) money could buy. Boot was still about the same as a normal hatchback even with all the seats up. Now you get what's called a Multi Purpose Vehicle & you need a bloody roof rack if you want to use all the seats! Seems like we've gone backwards.

Renault 21 Savannah was another fine example of that too - & they created the bloody MPV with the Espace!

you can get this info from the dvla

but exactly what part of the dvla, and i know of a 505 thats been sat up in a shed for 20 years after it was hit and it only needs a new back bumper, and door

Don't know how many 505s, not seen one for many years (I was Foreman Mechanic in a Peugeot dealers when the 505 came out, went on a course to Peugeot to learn all about them).
Round here every other taxi seems to be a 406HDi....Lots of the Asian taxi guys have them.

The 505 a tough old brick, are they all scrapped or did they all get exported to aftica? and is there any link for the dvla thingy
ive been on their website and i cant see any place where the info is available.

They were trialled as a NY taxi too.

A US spec one makes a cameo appearance in the movie Bandits (along with a DS), where it runs out of fuel
