swapping the ecu on a d9 2.2 sri

can anyone tel me whats involved with this please? what do i need to swap as well as the ecu?
Past car - D9 2.2 SRi estate, sleeper, family wagon & general hauler!
Current car - Ph3 1.8 306

you really are not happy at the moment with these problems, is the engine affected, or is it the interior stuff. Could be the bsi.

did you check the footwell plugs ?

i'm at work at the mo, so i will at lunch.

want to ask questions while they are in my mind. i'm praying its not ecu failure!

i would check the footwell plug 1st, if you see any signs of corrosion like the post i sent you i would bet its them ,,, quite common on a D9 that problem

I Dont know any cure for the worry it was like the night my bsi played up coulnt go to sleep thinking about it. Cigarette perhaps.

right, just been out to the car and its seems to be 'getitng better'. the dash electrics seems to be returning, but it wont start still.

HOW THE HECK TO I GET THE CARPET UP?
