I have a 1998 LHD Peugot 406 and the windscreen washer bottle leaked.
According to the Haynes manual, most of the front end of the car had to be removed to gain access to the bottle mounting bolt which is situated behing the headlight.
Because the original bottle was not repairable, I removed the front wheel/wheel arch lining and chiselled the plastic lug off the bottle, and removed the filler cap and electric cable to the pump.
Now with easy access to the bolt, it is a simple job to remove the bolt, TURN THE METAL FASTENER CLIP AROUND and then fit the replacement bottle.
Hope this helps

Re: Peugot 406 windscreen washer bottle replacement
Thank you for the tip!
Is this something that wears out regularly? It seems to be all plastic, did it get a shock or did the washer fluid wear through?
Is it a common Citroen/Pug component?
