Yup for a while my mum drove an austin metro, so from a young age i learnt quickly what broken down means. Then She got a ford fiesta, and i learnt what useless godforsaken piece of sh*t meant quite useful at 4 to have such a word in your vocabulary, gave you that extra word at school.

As for the spelling:
the casset player was really good, caseetes came in many colors and vareities, but usually all the flim inside curled up and youe you got no more musick. Theeze usb playirs are much better you can stoor more music than before. Because of advantages in technology.
the spell checks blinking like mad, muh ha ha ha ha

As for hifis, theres a lot of cheap stuff out there, but you can still get well made stuff, all the big names sony, jvc, philips, roberts still makes good hifis. Bush and Alba good stuff then they just spontaniously stop one day.

the last time i cared about spellings was back in p3 with the spelling test, hated them things with a passion. So thats why i dont really care too much about spellings. I especially find it irritating to be told where apostrophies and exclamation marks should go. Ie you'r, your, youre' you're. You know its still referring to someone else.

Just contemplaating getting rest of relatives to club together and get him an Ipod of some sort

If your looking in the market for an ipod could i suggest an ipod?
they are quite a good mp3 player but i didnt like the software didnt allow me to drag and drop songs, and copy songs off my ipod and give them to somewhere else. A thing my creative zen did let me do. But then theres lots of ipod docks about, and 0 creative zen docks.

I bought myself an iPod Classic

No need for dragging and dropping music; the hard drive on the iPod Classic is so big I can have my entire music collection on it, and have room to spare for videos and photos.

They're cheaper than the iPod Touch, but you can get a lot more music on them. The disadvantage is that the iPod Classic is just an MP3 player, really; it has no "apps" and no internet access whatsoever.

i had the 120gb classic, i didnt like how it synced the music. But once the music was on it, it was by far a much easier device to use than the zen which ergonomically was terrible, and i also had a nice ipod dock at the time.
But at £100 i was able to buy my blackberry, and i still have the 32gb sd card in it, which still holds all my music with space to spare.
