its the front bottom corner of the actual box thats got the hole in. i used the gun gum with fibres in it, but it goes rock hard after a bit, but i noticed there was a hole in it like it have been sucked in. i repaired it again and it happened again

Imho Gum gum is crap,
it dries up and falls off like mudd,
if its asmall hole you couid just cut a piece of tin and Jb weld it over the hole,
Ive Been using Jb weld today on a badly cracked sump iexpected it just melting with the heat of the engine, but im amazed to see it sets solid and goes like metal,

Can you gungum a bit of a beer can (or whatever) over the hole? I think they should be ok with it if it's not actually leaking on the day, you could also explain to them that you're waiting for pay day to replace the whole system.
