Do I detect someone buying a cheap as chips diesel for the daily slog to and from worky?????????

Its the temporary replacement for my car while it gets repaired.

Youre right about the magic carpet thing, its a awful soft wallowy ride. And a god awful diesel engine.

Dont they share the engines with a 406? I assume it's a 1.9L TD?

Hi,

Yes it is the same diesel engine as the Peugeot 406 as PSA (Peugeot/ Citroën Company) have a massive factory that makes diesel engines for ford , Peugeot, jaguar ( although that is ford as well) and at one time fiat (may well be the case still).

yeah the stock xantias suspension aint great, but have a go in an activia, Not much this side of supercars corners flatter and pulls more g's

Yeah and you realise it when you have a problem and have to pay for parts or for it to get rapaired.... supercar prices lol
