How good was - or is the 406

I have no rust and as for power mine is an est but i've left golf gti's for dust round the windy roads i have a pipercross induction kit that is for the 2.0hdi 110 engine and my pug can fly it really does and i still get great mpg,i could fill it up go to scotland and back and still have fuel in the tank,how many cars could do that the 406 with the 2.0 hdi 110 is an amazing car

I do miss the MPG. Belfast to Silverstone and back via Milton Keynes, Manchester, Wigan on a tank and a half.
