Thats total poppy cock... if its a write off, then just buy it back from the insurance company... like £50 is all its costs usually lol Say your going to do the work yourself, have they paid out?

Then give it a go !

been on to the insurance company today, they said have you had your letter yet, i said no whats it say, they said oh its offering you a settlement figure but you gonna have to wait for the letter to find out how much they gonna pay(YIPEE ) (yipee) they gonna pay (yipee) :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :D :D :D :D :D :D they really gonna pay up i am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy i wish it was the weekend so i could have a few stella's an celebrate


but i dont know what they gonna pay yet (but they gonna pay)

all advice you lot can be on what happens next cos i aint NEVER dealt with insurance company before

well i got my letter today offering a settlement figure

guess what they offered

£2900

what happens now cos i still owe more on the car than that :cry:

Thats not a bad offer tbh, might be worth trying for a bit extra tho.

You could I think keep paying finance and buy a new car with your payout or pay that much off finance and get another finance deal to pay for new car. Altho if the finance was on your current car then I doubt you will see the £2.9k as that might just go straight to the finance company.

yep :D i DID have the GAP insurance on it i was saving that bit till last, i'm kinda hoping that if the insurance doesnt cover the full cost the GAP WILL

any ideas/ thoughts :cheesy: :cheesy:
