Post by lozz »

ive been buying bits off this seller,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2001-PEUGEOT-406- ... 2311ddb0eb

theyre selling bits for peanuts ive worked out what ive bought off them after Ebay fees and postage fees wouidnt of been worth the bother, not much profit,

give them a try,

there comms are a bit poor as ithink the seller is French or an italian
well worth buying parts off them tho

I gave up on buying parts on ebay after my door arrived covered in big dents and with the corners caved in.

its just the way it goes mate,
when iseen My Rapier interior on ebay isent the seller the question , what condition is it etc?
nothing just got blanked, Arrogant fecker ithought,

they was based 48 miles away so ijust drove up there to tell them what a bunch of Misserable bastards they where ,

when igot there iwas greeted, what part do you need sir?

ihate that sir thing gets on my goat but ilet it pass,

wouid you like a coffee from the vending machine they asked,

then the brought down a pallet with the fork lift truck all shrink wrapped,
very polite they where and every part was taken off carefully with clean hands,
got it much cheaper than scrap yard prices too,

sometimes they dont reply because there too busy or theyre cleaning the yard /warehouse,

if its a one man band selling stuff on ebay then i wouid expect them to reply to any questions with either a simple yes /no / sorry dont know,

sometimes what i do is ask them for a more expensive part. So one time i was looking for a door catch i kept getting no reply from the seller, then i asked for the ABS pump they said £120, then i replied i got you now, youll sell me the ABS pump but why not the door catch. I got my door catch and a nice sorry about that from the seller.
I just have to do things like that to get parts as no local breakers here have 406s at the moment so ebays my only stop for parts.

Well there is but there more or less a carcus,

some yard /s -are abits racist too, when you ask have you got any 406s in they say no, we dont have them as it atracts them,
and we dont want them coming in for parts, :?

I've been trying to get a side indicator repeater for a Honda Accord off ones theyre breaking on ebay.

Every time, they either don't respond, say "I'll get you a price..." then don't respond, or because they insist that 'highlands, islands and NI' are somehow different to post to, "I'll get you a postage price..." then never respond.

Then they wonder why they get no trade. Useless gets.

i equally dont like the please call option because you ring and there usually is no awnser or they cant understand me and i cant understand them.

about your accord, say you want a gearbox, then when they start getting ready to send it ask for your indicator, and another tip keep sending emails.
