You might be able to see my skid mark extends passed the wheel but this is where the EuroCargo lorry pushed me backwards during the head-on (ouch). CAT B right off

5 years ago, 8/7/06. At that time I had my own flat in Broxburn, Scotland.

It was a saturday, so I probably woke up hungover, got a greasy fast-food lunch, then to buy more beer, made a tasty dinner, sat in front of the PS2.

Nice (ex)car Welly! Always liked those Mitsubishis.

It was sh*t to be honest, loads of a/c problems i.e. £600.00's worth, noisy belts and tensioners, noisy hydraulic lifters (really nasty sound sometimes), not much sound-deadening, crap brakes with no ABS (see photo above), no Airbag (see photo above), appalling gear-change.

Those FTO's really are a heap, I bought it for her indoors at a time where they were still quite interesting but nowadays they have fallen into the P-Reg Scooby world of motoring embarrassment

I was just looking back at my photos for 2006 and I don't seem to have any for July, in June I went to Tihočaj and in August I had a new roof put on my house and we were in Prague but July..? I guess I was hiding from the heat

I'd had my current 406 for about a year.
My second fixed term contract as a postdoc was about to end and I was desperately looking for work. Not a happy time.
