it was definatley a different layout when i did the fault code reading on a saxo.
The time i had the airbag fault i took it to an auto electrician with a really expensive setup but he could only read fault codes vaguley, the pp2000 gives much more detail.

you have to use it on a windows xp laptop so the functions are limitless, they will have lcd, sky may be available. and that channel should be available, many like it i believe.

The dell was always a slow laptop especially the startup is there anything that can be done to speed it up a bit? Here is the system information:

i'm not 100% sure what processor i'm looking at there but i think the biggest downside is that 4 letter word beginning with D...

if you're only using it for pp then you don't need a virus guard or anything going. in fact take everything out of start up, down to stuff it actually needs to run like the video driver. then defrag it.

i still use it now and then for the internet (its acutually got wifi in it) which today was able to show me where the OBDII plug on a 307 is situated, but it has AVG on it to keep out the viruses.
The 4 letter word dell :supafrisk:, after this one i actually consider dell to be a good make.

But how do you take everything out of startup, the processor when there was a sticker on the front said intel centrino duo.

CCleaner would be easiest (tools-startup), if you don't know what it is Google it...

I had an antique Dell to sort out a little while ago, I'd have like to have stuck AVG & Spybot on it but it was slow enough already, so I stuck Microsoft's Security Essentials on it & it didn't cripple it noticeably. Ok it's Microsoft so every bored teenager that thinks he's a hacker is probably out there trying to break it but if you're not using it as your main surfing machine then it's probably not worth worrying about.
