What is it with MPVs and hogging the outside lane?

Seems to be every Renault Scenic hogs the outside lane of the M2 into Belfast / M3/A2.

I laughed reading that, showing the Audi and the Zafira who's boss! :)

Oh look, I've got 2 emails from Facebook. One says:
Hi Steve,
You haven't been back to Facebook recently (no sh*t).You have received notifications while you were gone.
No I haven't, those two friends requests have been there for at least 6 months, one is my nephew (you really think I want to see the sort of stuff teenage kids post?) and the other is someone I don't know - ok she's a friend of a friend but I'm not here just to push her friends total up to 100,000

The other says
Da Plodster posted on your Wall.
"WOW I cant believe that you can see who is viewing your profile!I just saw my 98 profile visitors and I am SHOCKED from who is viewing my profile! You can also see WHO VIEWED YOUR PROFILE.
Sorry Plod mate but either a) you were drunk b) you've gone mad c) Facebook is not immune to viruses d) viruses also include crappy pointless "applications" that spam people in your friends list.

Also I couldn't give a monkey's who's looking at my profile *wonders how many people he'd upset if he posted an image from his MRIs on there*

One that used to get me when I lived in Fife was:

You would be on an open road, fairly empty in your direction, making good progress. Then, someone in an old Metro or something would pull on out right in front of you, forcing you to slow down, despite the road behind you being clear, and proceed at 35-40mph.

Why?????? Why not at least wait until I passed?

What was so important that it couldnt wait and you do 40mph anyway??

And overtaking was difficult due to the windy roads and every good overtaking stretch seemed to have a car coming the other way.
I was also in an XUD ZX, so overtaking needed a runway.

Also, something else I hate: When my car cuts out while approaching a set of traffic light controlled roadworks and refuses to restart!

This mornings commute was fun.....

A14 eastbound closed J13 - 16 due to lorry fire.

On my alternative country lane, I discover 12 cars following an artic, who's stuck behind a soddin TRACTION ENGINE and nobody even trying to get past.

(bet they don't have to pass smoke tests). :frown:
