me 406 has died :(

hi all my 406 has died :( on the way home from work this morning the cambelt decided to go pop on the M6 eeek not the best place for it to happen when your over taking a truck at the time, looks like ill be having to find another runabout till i can find a decent 406 again


so theres a few of the goodies i fitted in the for sale section already

That's a real shame Andy. :(

Plenty of good replacements about without spending a fortune.....
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Seems to be no shortage of HDi s about at the moment though :?

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

think the next 406 wil be a HDI estate :)

spent this morning taking all the goodys off the poor 406 and sent it to the scrappy got £150 for the shell, sold the seats and the stainless exhaust to a workmate for £150, so bits of it live on

but for now ive just picked up a nice p reg, 1 owner VW Golf for a song well £ 400 to be honest :supafrisk:
