no shortage of junk on the internet, but its good to hear you got a bargain, though for in car fm transmitters the wired in one gives the best reception of them all.

Yup the wired ones are best,
ive had them before,

only reason igot this is because ican use it in the Vans saves listening to the Crap on the r~adio
and if it gets broke or pinched its only £3 lost, saves messing with wires too,

speaking of Junk have you seen how much halfords are charging for theres,
went in halfords last night for some window tint film , £25 a roll and then £4.99 for the triming kit,
Got some off the Amazon for £6 a roll free triming kit thrown in,

goes to show how much these shops are making,

high street shops are a rip off now we have the internet we can check the prices so easy. The price of stuff on argos is very expensive. Wheras you can go onto ebay or amazon and get the same thing much cheaper, and the internet gives you a much better range of stuff to choose from.

If they'll ship to where you live :( And then there's customs

Still, it stops me spending money I don't have

Customs ?

whats thems,

iget a few things from china, Marked as Gift, never had a problem.

ithink it all depends on how much you order if its a lot and frequent maybe theres the risk of paying the extra fees.

Not everyone's amenable to stuff like that. I've had stuff that I expect to be charged for turn up with nothing, I've had to pay for stuff I didn't expect to be charge for and I've had to pay more in customs for things than the cost of the item and the postage combined. They make it up as they go along, there are rules but they change all the time so that's probably why. I can't appeal it, all I can do is either pay up or tell them to stick it.

Oh, and I've also had them sit on stuff because it didn't have a reciept in it, all I got was a letter telling me to call them, which I also had to pay for

ive never had much customs problems my macbook came from the usa (which is why it was cheaper) but there was no customs issue there and chinese stuff on ebay never had any unexpected charges although on ebay now i specify uk only some of the chinese stuff is terrible quality and always takes ages to come.

Iwouidnt say chinese stuff is bad quality,
problem is when it breaks down theres nothing you can do other than throw it in the wheelie bin,
bought a car dvd player off chinavasion it lasted 2mths,
for what it costs to send it back its not worth the hastle and then they might say it hasnt been recieved if you do send it back,

im sticking to the Amazon from now on, it seems the best option,

there is good chinese stuff eg the iphone is made in china but they have been given good designs and materials, one of them fake iphones which offer extras like a tv tuner and dual sim could be iffy enough.
with tools a few years ago i would happily buy stuff out of ebay or pound shops thinking im getting a bargain but when the head of a hammer falls off the shaft it cant be good.

ive had a few clone-phones sony and the iphone ones

there ok but theres no apps for them and the touch screen becomes iffy,
and the batterys in them look home made, there not plastic there coverd with paper backing
one of the ones ihad leaked, phone shops told me the batterys carnt be replaced,

pound shops are ok for somethings ,
people think there selling things at a loss and its all a bargain,

the cost of there items is 29p igo to the wholesalers sometimes and buy stuff,
makes you wonder how much the wholesaler is making too and how much the company that actualy makes the stuff gets

its gotta be pennys :?
