I know Beemer drivers are idiots all to well. Take my bosses wife she had a 04 330ci and she decided last April it was time for a new car so of she trots to the BMW dealer and in there is a 116d convertible so she buys it. End of story

5 series or nothing. Nothing worse than a 4cyl base spec 3 series - whilst they do handle well, desperately underpowered for such an awesome chassis they have!

thats probably true for a 116d but the 320d has something in the region of 180bhp

although i seen pictures of the new ds5 its got an overhead console with plenty of buttons like a plane
