induction kits

Post by trem1 »

is there any point in putting an induction kit or K & N air filter ( dunno the difference meself but dont wanna look thick)
on a diesel???

cause as you all know i knacked my last car so i really want to think about changing the air intake,
cos although i definatly have NO plans to go through any deep water again(im worried about puddles even)
you never know when you may come across a flooded road so

is there any benefits from fitting the above or not really

also any advise on a resonably cheap one

I think you just get a louder noise from k&n, but the BMC CDA Carbon Induction Kit is supposed to add 6% more power and torque to an HDI engine. But its about £150. I recently removed my whole airfilter and just left the pipe hanging, it was more responsive and louder. :cheesy:
