i recently discovered this, i needed new front callipers for my suzuki, i asked on the suzuki forum, but they needed my vin, i checked it in the log book and thought nothing of it. But now on closer inspection I've noticed the log book says OIW4002, and the number plates i have and the pictures of the jeep when i got it say MIW4002
I just renew the SORN every year and its very very unlikely that it will go back near a road, but should i care about this error?
nope. i wouldnt. isnt there a way to tell DVLA that the vehicle is now on farm land .
is it petrol or diesel ? once DVLA have been informed of its use they will allow red diesel to be used in it .
Its a petrol, i tried that farm land thing you can go on the roads about a mile without the need for tax but the thing still must have a valid mot which my yoke has no chance of getting.
i have no idea who i bought the suzuki off, i remember he was an old man sold it from his house, he had it and a range rover classic for sale, he said he only used the suzuki for towing a fishing boat, there was definatley no reason to sell a cloned car.
The thing about the jeep is, its no longer a 1.3 its a 1.6 so that would also make it different?
