Which laptop fault code reader

Hi all

Need a fault code reader that will do a ford fiesta 1996, 406 hdi 110 2000, and xsara hdi 90 2002 seen some on ebay for 15-20 that i can plug into the laptop, does anyone have any recommendations i have seen this on.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-PC-DIAGNO ... 27c1c06929

I have the one above.
It's a good bit of kit!

He will email you a program called Proscan, and on the lead there is a serial number to activate the progam.

Does the job anyway :)

would it be okd on both th 2002 and 2000 hdi's

OBD2 compliance wasn't mandatory for diesels until 2004, I suspect it won't work.

My dad has lexia and peugeot planet but hes too far away to use it and want something that will read the sensors and fault codes etc but dont really want to fork out £100

I know it's still a bit of a jaunt, but you can always use mine if you want. (NN17)

Did you buy one ? Does it work on the 406, I have a 2000 406 and would like one to look at my injectors working...

PP2000 does, but they were a little over £100 last time I looked - search for 'Lexia 3'

got mine for a bit under £100 so magic... just finding faults i never knew about!
