My current dash is described as:
6104 YK - BVM5 AND DIESEL FUEL AND STANDARD SPEEDO LOWER GRADUATION AND STD OIL LEVEL INDICATOR SINCE RPO No. 09001
Nope - the 90bhp Rapiers had speedos that went up to 160mph (hence the D9/16m stamped lightly at the bottom) while my 110 had the same 150mph speedo as yours.

160 was a bit optimistic.

I'd have rather it went to 100 and gave me a bigger view of the crucial 30-40 region!

160 is madness in a hdi your idea of 100 would be better so that 30 mph would be easier to see

Exactly.

75 is at 12 O'clock on my speedo which means that about half of the space is pretty much wasted. It's only ever been to 100 twice :supafrisk: and that was bloody hard work

and another thing why did they put the high beam indicator in the worst place possible right behind the steering wheel not somewhere sensible such as between the indicators

I noticed that too. I wondered if it was the way I had positioned the steering wheel or seat. Was a pain on country roads trying to keep yourself right.

Regarding indicators, I've driven the other halfs Hyundai while the Honda is in the garage and have came to the conclusion that having them on the right hand side for a RHD car makes more sense!

If your left hand is mostly changing gear (its a manual), then the right hand steering means you can flick the indicators on and off effortlessly!

We've all been in the situation where we've wanted to turn right at a roundabout but the left turn deflection before entering cancels the indicator, and as you are busy changing gear at the time, it's a bit of a faff turning the indicator back on. Not a problem with the indicator on the right, just move your hand and blip!
