Never ending queue? Each time i took the car for the test its the only one getting tested.

What i don't like about sundays here is the amount of places that are closed, sunday is a great day for fixing something in the house or the garden but all the hardware shops are closed, except B&Q, although its 20 miles away.

I've only ever used Balmoral Belfast and Mallusk and they've always been busy.

Though it probably gives them less time to be over-pernickity.

Out in the sticks nowhere opens, B&Q or Homebase is 20 miles away.

Mind Budget DIY? Used to be the big place when the English chains were too scared to be here.
One of the first casualites of the current financial depression.

The two places I've had the car tested are armagh and cookstown, normally armagh which is so quiet you can hear the radio they have on a shelf, although my aunt has went to craigavon and said she was waiting in a queue for 1hr.

Budget DIY, where did they have a branch?

Busy test centres I'd say would be more chance of finding something.

I've gotten a car mot'd before with no fog light!

Budget DIY were all over the shop. Newtownabbey, boucher, connswater etc
