considering that my OH (Team leader on Dot.com) was told that this december is the time to put yourself out for the customer..........

She's starting at 3.30am again tomorrow and will no doubt be lugging lots of turkeys around and numerous other things!

There certainly not working that way at tescos,
iwouidnt mind tho iwas polite and paitient, but still they just shrugged there shoulders,

none of them wanted to go in the back of the store and put a box on a trolley,

its too heavy for em to lift, even for 2 of em,

and the Manager looked like he didnt want to scratch his nail varnish ,

Hahaha - I did like the nail varnish comment, the other halfs store manager is a bit like that - you can tell which is his car in the car park, parked 1 side up against bollard and so far over the bay so no-one opens their doors onto it! Keep wanting to clingfilm it shut but the OH says no, even though he is spraying water/squirty cream and playing jokes on everyone!!

ithink most of the main managers for the stores, seem to be well -erm Ahem' sausage smokers, :|
nowt wrong with em mind but, as for running the store in profesional manner they dont seem to want to do anything other
than shout stuff over the Tannoy system in a julian clarey voice, realy does make one feel like hes in the wrong store,

My OH works in Dot Com for Tesco's too and is on store support at the moment, at the start of the week did a 17 hour shift at a well known turkey producer counting Dot Com and store ordered turkeys onto pallets to make sure every single one that was ordered made its way to the DC and then onto the stores so everyone that ordered gets what they wanted, it's the same everywhere, there are people who will go the extra mile to get their job done and then the ones you want to get by the throat to make them do something.
