Scratched car

Post by Ares »

I im simply so pist off that i can barely type here but i felt need to share this with you who will understand me.
As i went down to fetch something ,i also stop and see my car,and voila....a scracth from taillight to the begining of the rear doors.
i swear if i saw that creep doing this i think he would meet his creator.
My car aint sunshine,it haves scratches, dents etc but this was done on purpose, and in such a coward way.
Obviously it was done with some key or something.

i hate city.

I hate that

If my car gets damaged in any way like this I take it quite badly too.

Best you can do for now is try and get most of it out with something like Meguiars Scratch-X or something similar (if it's not too deep into the paint coat).

Try and post a pic because we might be able to suggest a better remedy?

scratch is pretty deep,i have some scratch repair but it works only on semi deep scratches, not like this one.
Its not the scratch itself that makes me angry, but the mentality of some people who walk on this planet, doing things like that.
Its ok mates, the anger passed me,i feel sorry for the punks who did that, their punishment is that they have to live with brain like that,or should i say,the lack of.

sorry to hear that :(

get apicture up someone might be able to recomend a way of making it look better,
this scratch repair youve mentioned, is it one of the pens with the fibre tip ?

they normaly work on fine key scratches depending how deep it is , if its down to the base the only way is paint and the cocktail stick method :(

That's horrible mate! There are some utter bastards about!!

Here's the one on the wife's car from a couple of years back, we had to have the whole side of the car resprayed. The thing it that it was obviously malicious, but to this day we still have no idea who did it or why, so what's the point??

DaiRees that scratch of yours is massive.
There are some really lowlifes on this planet, without an inch of respect toward others property.

I will post a pics of scratch when i can.

Just a few moments ago i moved the car from that spot,i dont know who did that but i suspect its maybe some of the people living near.
In that moment when i saw that scratch i was pist so hard i could really beat that person who did that and than make him respray entire car.

Crikey Dai that's one hell of a scratch

Where I park at work is outside terraced housing, they all know me and my car but I have to be so careful where I park. There's one 'scratcher' I've been warned about and another who INSISTS their car HAS TO BE bang outside their front window OR ELSE  it's only a shitty old DayWho Matiz but you cannot park there. I've parked in the next street many times to avoid this person

Similarly in Crap Parks I go for the spaces wayyyyyyyy away from everyone else. To date I have not one scratch or ding on my 7-year old motor but if it happens I will be in a mahoosive sulk about it.

In fact my 'quest' for this unblemished status is beginning to become slightly obsessive *twitches uncontrollably*

Imagine what goes trough the head of such a specimen when he scratches cars.
I remember not long ago, there was some man just went crazy,he would walk and smash windshields, entire row of cars smashed.

Also, some man was telling how he drives older cars, oldschool cars like opel manta etc,and someday he got hit by a bald guy with huge mercedes and loud music,50 yrs old.
After the hit ,merc guy told him that its an old banger (opel manta) anyway so why is he making such a big mess of it....

Where our old office was a few years ago was again residential and there had been episodes of unexplained tyre-slashing during the night (I mean loads).............turned out it was a cross-dressing council official who liked nothing more than to don a pretty frock and 'do' a whole line of parked cars

The story was hurriedly dumbed-down by the council as the chap was removed from service for psychiatric evaluation :?

He was apparently spotted by an elderly lady as he bent down to do a tyre, unfortunately his dress was a tad short and he exposed his genitalia in the process. She was never the same after that :|
