Well, here's the fuel leak......
Looks like it's seeping past the seal under the lid, (thought it was the shiny bit on the top q/r connector, but that's just been rubbing on the acoustic hood). Guess I'll try swapping the filter first.
A look in the boot reveals a 'brand new' 8 year old Michelin 205/60/15 91V on a virgin steel wheel,
two different locking bolt keys, everything else it should have, but no steel wheel bolts.
I have managed to get the locking bolt out of suspect #1, nsf wheel, but I'm not overly keen on ever putting it back in. Orf to the scrappy methinks to see if I can get some steely bolts and maybe even 4 alloy ones, failing that I'll
buy some.
It's -4 and thinking about snowing at the mo....... where did I put my enthusiasm?
