Going to look at a Peugeot 307 2.0 HDi 90 tomorrow, rapier trim.
Anyone had one or any experience with them?
Also... anyone know if any decent 307 forums?

Re: 307 advice...
We bought a 2 1/2 year old 307 1.6 hdi 4 years ago. It's still going strong and have had no real trouble with it. Now has 48k miles on the clock. I've had to change the front droplinks but no real problem

Re: 307 advice...
When I went to see the Pug specialist the other day he was having a big discussion with his assistant about whether the 307 was really as bad as people make out. Between them they worked out that one of the reasons that you hear so many complaints about them is because they were one of Peugeot's best selling cars & was also the first model that was multiplex from the word go. He said that the first ones have a lot of electrical faults & the 1.6 HDi turbo issue can be avoided with frequent oil changes & not just pottering around in them. A 90bhp HDi won't have the dreaded FAP in it & as long as it's 2003 or later, it shouldn't suffer too much with the electrics as they'd been running the multiplex for a couple of years by then.

Re: 307 advice...
My mechanic hates the 307 with a passion...
That said, probably you'd hope by now that many of the faults would of been sorted by now?
