Hello!
The 90bhp is a tad lazy but you're best to just let the engine do the work with a fairly light throttle and it will perform well enough.
The 90 is more simple than the 110 and much more reliable as a result.

My wife doesn't like it says its too slow , I just told to sit back and relax . We are getting 52 mpg I think it's good for the size of the car , I don't mind going a bit slower I only travel on a and B roads so ppl are always in the way

Hi & welcome.
Yep, the HDi 90 is slow off the mark. On the other hand it seems to be impossible to get less than 50mpg out of them. Swings and roundabouts I guess. I've had mine for going on 8 years...

Re: Hi I'm new
Hi, welcome.
I had a 90 for 3 years, it was fine round town, reasonably quick off the mark but a bit lack-luster on the bypass but, as you say, 52mpg is a very good compromise.
The 90 is the one with the least to go wrong and generally very reliable, perfectly adequate as a daily runner.
I miss my 90 a bit, mostly the reliability and economy, but happy with my 2.2.

Ty for all the welcomes , it has slowed my driving down , it's good as I was driving like a fool most of the time I find myself relaxing more when driving and it takes me the same time to get where I'm going as I would always get stuck behind someone . The car has prob saved my life lol
