The French forum

By which I mean
http://www.passion-406.com

It's hard work for me to read and even harder work to post with only a GCSE in French and Google translate, but worth persevering I think.

What just made me laugh is the smilies. How French is this: Image
Brilliant!

Likewise you wouldn't see this over here: Image

They're very friendly and genuinely appreciative of you making the effort to converse with them in french. Try to make your own translations rather than depend on Google etc. as this is seen as impersonal, They won't give you a hard time over poor spelling, grammar and punctuation, your own efforts, no matter how flawed, are always better received.

They have a few features I envy - an area for, 'talking among friends', where they greet whoever's online at the time, lots of forum games that are well supported and, as Rich says, a wealth of smilies.

They also have a cool feature where you can access/print off any thead in .pdf format. 8)

Formidable!
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
