They're underselling it. Looks far better than new IMHO.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

It has very little rust which is a good sign on a 90's ford, it must have been well looked after

It's funny, when I saw the title of this thread I just thought cheap Ford, just drive a tank over it...

Is this following on from that pile of crap Merc that went for silly money?

Problem with some of the older cars is that they develop a bit of a ' flat-spot '
Not sure if this example has the same issue......
2003 2.2hdi estate - mine
1998 Volvo 940 auto estate - also mine
2019 Citroen C3 something - the wife's
PP2000 user, can help with faults / diagnostics in the Bournemouth area.

Idont think anyone with half a brain cell wouid pay that.
I'd guess eBay wouid just bill em for auction/listing fee.

Expensive joke.

If it was true I'd be buying a few ford festa's and dropping a ton of bricks on them
It'd be doing the car a favour and making me rich in the process..

It would be interesting to know if the couple with the battered merc got paid in the end, or the man with the mint green focus. God knows there could be some rich toff somewhere wants it as an exhibit of modern art.

I might take a hammer to "the other 406" beat the panels senseless and list it as "restoration prepared" :cheesy:
