Dunno mate , the 406s I've had where freezing in winter
Some mornings I was half tempted to getting a camp fire going in the ashtray..

Your lucky I think if you've got some sort of aux heater.

Both of my 406's had a set of electric elements - 150 W IIRC - fitted in the heater matrix housing to give warm air before the water heats up. They're not really warm in cold weather, but remove the chill enough to speed up de-icing the screen
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

The later cars don't seem to have them, instead they (well, HDis anyway) have a water jacket around the egr pipe which does the same job.

I've only ever had 2 205s and 1 406... I must say, based on my experience of my cars... the 406 has a kick ass heater...
If you want a rubbish heater, get a 806.... Oh - that said the 405 estates also had good heating.....
All I know is 2 winters ago the heaters are that good in Miss Pug that she blew up my sat nav.............
