Swimming spare wheel...

i was clearing out my boot for once, and i found that the spare wheel well is full of water

, now ive checked the rear lights and there not leaking, and i dont have a sun roof, so does anyone know where else it could have come from?

I used to have a leak into the boot in my old Solara (those were the days

) that entered at the corners of the boot lid where it met the back window. The solution was to park it facing up hill instead of down hill when it rained, so that no water could gather in that area

could try laying down a few bits of paper around (not in) the wheel well, the one(s) that get wet should tell you what direction the water's coming from?

Sprinkle some talc on the areas where it may be coming in. Supposed to be good for spotting water trails.

Same thing happened when i had my 406 it wasnt acually the lights it was the small black rubber seal where the wires travell into the light mas not fitted right it had been pushed in too far and water was coming in there
