Google Ads

Oi Admin blokies.

How do the google ads work then? Do you get a fraction of a penny for every time someone clicks a link?

It just strikes me that on some of the other forums I iuse there's a bit of a "Click the Google ads" campaign going on in order to help with the forum running costs - should we be doing the same?

What I find stange is how google bot 'reads' our posts and then decides which adds would suit best
