Just looking on wiki and next week TG is going to make a episode on the history of Peugeot. Finally[emoji2]. Maybe they will have a 406 featured!

There was a contact from the BBC to multiple forums last year asking to borrow specific cars for a program they were shooting regarding the history of Peugeot, they would not specifically say Top Gear and no one was allowed to say which show it was, 406CC was one of the clubs contacted.

My mechanic knew about it as people were trying to point in his direction, one of his cars is a W-reg white 306 Rallye with only 800 miles on the clock but they had already arrange another Rallye, on one of the 306 forums i'm pretty sure there was a small list of some of the other cars which they were requesting.

I was in stitches when they did that mock meeting in paris when the peugeot bosses decided to make the best terrible cars in the world.
It was also nice to see a 505.

 Well what surprise that was NOT!, I said the dinosaur would be rude, sorry all you 407 converts :cheesy: .
Ah well at least he didn't disappoint, he's still a dickhead
I was surprised that they didn't use a 206 1.9gti, but then it's not a proper story is it ?

Still we'll all tune in next week eh?

I have to agree with them, well slightly anyway, those big old Peugeots were lovely cars, superbly comfortable as was the 404 I had but I think the 406 was the last really good car they made and they didn't even mention it. I wouldn't be inclined to buy a newer one - but then I think that goes for a lot of manufacturers.
