Skoda Fabia vRS: Special Edition

Post by ThePrisoner »

Went down to my local skoda dealer today and enquired about the new Skoda Fabiz vRS Special Edition. (For those of you who don't know I wanted a Fabia vRS before purchasing my 406.)

The new special edition is limited to 1000 only! and comes in a limited edition colour with tons of extra options over the standard model, and they are becoming hard to order too!

I got a brochure and too some piccies (which I have uploaded onto the Fabia forum also)

Here it is in all its glory, stunning. This particular car is number 278 of 1000.

You can tell as each car is individually numbered in the front leather seats! :cheesy:

I'd seriously love one of these cars, but don't think I can afford it

Anyone want to buy my 2.0 16v Executive?

 Would consider anything if it meant raising the cash needed for one of those vRS's, but I dont't think the missus will be very impressed

She seems to think getting married is more important then owning a decent motor

Mines the same mate. I was just lucky that the car I wanted was also a large sensible one, and I got one before I popped the question.

Now all we talk about are wedding plans!

If I asked her and bought her a ring, I would be able to buy whatever car I liked and see wouldn't care.

However these special editions wont be around for long, and I aint got the cash to stump up for a ring and the cash for the car.

Wished now id asked her last year, then id get my car....

oh well....sigh

[clint eastwood] Well it's like this, see, you gotta choose, will it be VRs.....Marriage.....VRs.....Marriage
well, are yah feeling lucky punk, well are yah?? [/clint eastwood]

If it's any use, after you marry you will still not be off the hook as she will be planning 'HER' future with you in tow. Afterall she has got to prove to her friends that her marriage will be 'special' and better than theirs. This may envolve expensive Holidays/Travel before you have kids. Or perhaps a larger property, one where her mother can stay with you at weekends.

Then there's the Kids, jesus that's when things will get really bad. You will become bitter about the lack of any personal gains from the arrangement, you will be skint, wish you had done better at work, and you will just about scrape through the next 16 years driving around in crap old cars and wishing things were better.

Hope this helps 8)

Hey, I've done it, I might as well tell it how it is.

*Coming soon* -
  • How your sexy Girlfriend turns into a ''Wife from Hell''

How your Wife's body changes after childbirth (not for the faint hearted)

Also a Special Feature on how marriage affects you, including an article about a sense of great loss and missed opportunities.
