Just when I thought it cant get any worse ....

Post by GeordieBoy »

I've just killed the Sierra tonight, Head Gasket has gone.

Anyway I've ordered an Alternator from a breakers in Kent for £50 delivered for my 406, only done approx 42k miles.

Should be here Fri/Sat and sorted next week.

Try a few couriers matey, you never know!, paying the transport is prolly cheaper than buying an engine up your way. I'll even offer to [s]nick[/s] aquire a pallet and give darren a hand to get it there.

How heavy is it like? Can it be picked up by hand and put into a boot or something?
