Replacment Car

HI,

Sometimes though I ponder on the problems I have had and it clouds my opinions (which I should learn to keep to myself).

Welton your opinions good or bad are much appreciated, will help get a good car, sorry if I implied otherwise.

As sad as it may seem I cannot find a car that is modern looking and goes as well as the 406 (a good one), I think the mondeo looks old next to the 406 ( not the new new one, say a 2005 -5006) same with the passat.

The local mechanic told me to steer away from: -

Mondeo’s as the injectors they use are very prone to failure, the Laguna’s have horrible electrical problems, which does not leave me much. And I still think the 406 coupe is the best looking coupe available (in normal working man’s money), compared to a TT, or bmw coupe the 406 makes them look normal, if I could afford the diesel 406 coupe (I would go and buy one as it is my favourite car to date)

This leads back to my problem, there is not much to chose from it basically comes down to a 406 or a passat/skoda Octavia.

HI,

IS a high milage HDi ok (110bhp verison) or will it fall to bit's? (75K - 51 plate)

I've got a 970000 mile HDI 110 on a 53 plate and it's been fine so far

Was going to say, thoguht we may have had our first million miler then. And in a 2003, must be living in the car!
