Post by sollyboy »

HI Puglover
Where can I get some of those clips which hold the engine cover on the Hdi engine? before I go to the Peugout stealer and pay shead loads for four tiny clips???
All the best Sollyboy

Have you checked how much they are at the stealers? I've always found them quite cheap for stuff like that.

Yeah trim clips and the like are usually pennies. It's cos they know they're crap and break all the time, bet they're struggling to make enough!

I can't get my local citroen garage to sell me anything. Peugeot garage 15 miles away, Citroen garage at the bottom of the street, but they demand the vin number before they let you through the door of the parts department, and all I was after was spark plugs for my HPi.

World's gone mad, I actualy rang the local suzuki garage (25 mles away!) for some bushes for my 1992 sammy, they wanted the chassis number! WTF? There's no way they could get it wrong from year and model. Jeep was at home and I was in work - told them to forget it. I shall find a source who actually want to take my money
