Post by jameslxdt »

i was having a chat with my sisters boyfriend today and he is selling a nissan S13 200sx running about 280bhp, and ive love this car, but he's be trying to sell it for a long time without any luck (but hasnt been trying very hard  ) and today he offerd it to me for just £1000!
i really dont know what to do, it wont be cheap for me to insure, but i would love to have it and i was planning on selling my '6 for something a bit 'better' and now this has come up i dont know what to do
it hasnt got a/c, which is one thing ill miss from the '6 but its just mental fast and so much fun to drive
i want i want i want

Being a "S13" is it a grey import Silvia or a UK Delivered 200sx?

280BHP RWD in an arse happy car is great till it rains!
I owned a 300BHP MR2 Turbo and a 280BHP 300ZX Twin turbo and they were anything but safe or fun when it rained.

Good laugh in the dry though :D 8)

Buy it, if I had a spare £1k I would have it. No fun in the rain, dont be a pussy, rain separates the men from the boys in RWD cars and its soooooo much fun to just hang the arse out at every corner, junction, roundabout etc. Cost a fortune on tyres tho.

i know all about RWD i had two bmw e30's, they are very entertaining on wet roundabouts
even in the dry you can use the clutch dip method quite easily
