I knew the 16's would make the car handle better. The last few 406's off the line (the 03/04's) all had 16'' wheels with 205's it must have been an effort by Peugeot to address the wobbly squidgy side walls of the 15's thus giving the driver more feel.

In fact that would be my ideal set up, some genuine 16's and a remap, oh and some brakes that work.

Yeah mine had those - They are allright I suppose, are pretty noisy when cornering hard but offer decent levels of grip. In the wet they would lose traction pretty easily - happened to me the other night pulling out of the harbour bridge toll booths and got quite a bit of wheelspin. Glad to get rid of them though - they aren't cheap here and there are better tyres for the money!

Cheers foggy......Hmm if only id looked back on here earlier.....Have just purchased some off e bay,Havent seen them properley yet....Took a bit of a risk,Plese let me know when yours are spare though just incase these turn out to be a load of poo!
