Or there is them Haven camp sites with static caravans there is two near me one called Blue Dolphin and the other Primrose Valley. Not that the Yorkshire coast is that attractive a place to visit but its a thought

Only problem you'll get is the price of caravans in the beginning of the school holidays. We're hoping to go camping thesame time as you.

I'm suring summer is due to start soon (it's sunny out the window now, looks strange!!)

Ditch the tents and caravan and head off somewhere better than the UK!

I know its close to home, but I go to Craster and around that area, great coastline and some good pubs!

Weather is another matter though! :cheesy:

100% agreed. Passports are easy to get (if you're a Brit of course!)... but might not get to you by the 20th July now. And to be honest, European holidays are very cheap (certainly won't be much more than a camping holiday) so you might as well go there. Don't know why people go on "holidays" in the UK :?

Since coming back from New York 3 weeks ago, there hasn't been a single day without rain here. It's the most depressing country in the world weather wise. As J. Clarkson said once in one of his books "Britain has the weather, everywhere else has a climate". Glad I am leaving this swamp on Saturday for 3 weeks :cheesy:

Yep, and I only have 3 more holiday days left at work until December :| (when I am going to NYC to the new year's :D)

I discovered that travelling is a lot more satisfying than buying something tangible. My house mate is like a mouse, never leaves the house for anything other than shopping and work and certainly doesn't go holidaying. He'd rather spend the money on a new PC or something he already has anyway. Just recently he spent £1000 on setting up his tropical fish tank. Looks nice and all but.... what's he gonna tell his kids about his travels around the world? :?

That's my view anyway 8)
