tbh - I've looked at swapping them about - and its relativley easy to do - but i looked at the theory behind them changing the layout - and they said that the reason for the change was to focus more on content - i.e the writing you guys do is more important that the (sometimes briliant [i,e welly]) avatars, post count etc.

I'm going to leave it for another week or so and then ask how eveyones getting on - but with a bit of luck, i should be changing the colours of the theme if not tongiht, sometime this week, to address the hard to see the difference in posts..

I've also got a few surprises up my sleve - but these, alas, are for a while in the future..

:D

p.s im mobile! I've got a 2 1/2 hr break at work and surfing the net on my lappy via my phone. lol..

Thanks,
Nick

This might be true to them, but its a bit strange going from a forum, where you instantly know who posted to one, were you hunt the poster.

From a newbie perspective, its a bit strange as the old format was much easier to read and understand, you still get the content and it doesn't "focus" you onto the Avatars and post counts, when they are on the left of the screen.

The boarder looks fine and now breaks up the posts so your not fighting a losing battle with reading everything in a sig to make sure its not part of post.

[living in a box]hmmmm, I said that before the black border thing, I meant just the slight coloured separation between posts :|

The black border looks a bit close to the text doesn't it? [/living in a box]
