What can you tell me about the 115bhp 1.9 Diesel S40? Are they sh*t, good, fast, slow, unreliable?

Ive seen a 53 plate Sport Lux for sale near me, it looks sweet

slow, uncomfortable, rock hard ride, very quiet, rather reliable, the engine is a renault dci 1.9 115ps unit, so reliabilty can be a bit patchy here, parts are very very very expensive, on a 53 plate it should be a mk 2.5, the mk 1 and 2 have dials which are far too small, but the mk2.5 is better, if its a genuine sport it should have clear headlights with black masks, lowerd suspension, bbs alloys, sport body kit, basically front bumper spoiler which always gets smashed as its too low, and the boot spoiler, should also have a half leather bucket seat interior, if you give a volvo dealer the reg. no. they can tell you if it s geniune sport, the s40 is 75% a mitsubishi lancer so you cant really go wrong, but being japanese dont be supprised to see rust, even on a 53 plate
drive it and you'll hate it compared to the 406

So in summary. Looks good but drives crap.

I leave that then and keep looking i think.
