Should I kill this Blue Bottle now.....

Post by Welly »

For 2 days I've been trying to swipe this pesky Fly with me ruler cos it's been buzzing around and annoying me :x

I got a lovely sounding 'crack' at it in mid-air about an hour ago with me ruler and it shot to the floor 8)

I thought it would have died from the significant impact but it survived. Unfortunately it seems to now have brain damage and cannot fly although it can walk around unaided but not very far.

It has certainly stopped bothering me now and even stayed for my desk for ages on a piece of A4 whilst I worked. There's no other signs of trauma but it's certainly not as perky as it was.

What do you reckon? and what would be a fiting end to it's life here?

I reckon you should fold it inside that piece of paper and make an aeroplane; set fire to it and give the bug a flying cremation!

I've actually spent a few minutes this morning trying to find him :?

Alas, there is no sign of him.

Tis a shame because someone's dog has creamed out a fresh turdy outside (I nearly stepped in it :( ) so I thought about picking him up and dropping him on the turd in a 'last supper' style

I could have posted a pic too :(
