Help with posting images

Post by Cookies »

Hi - please help.

Guys, i'm having some difficulty with jpegs. Sometimes when post it inserts the actual image in the post - other times it inserts a hyperlink to the image. As far as i know i have been doing the same thing. Can someone please give me a steer  in the right direction.

Sorry if this post isn't in the right place.

I'm not sure, I always hit the Img button and stick the link for my pic in between - http://www.Imadeitup.itdoesn'texist.jpg[/i m g]

Create yourself a phototobucket account and upload your pics to there.
Once you've uploaded them it will create an IMG link that you can paste straight into your post.

I used to upload photos as attachments which seemed to work intermittently as you mention until I found out about photobucket.

Nick,

Sorry for the delay - it happened in the 'Pug Pictures' section under 'My Pugs' topic - you'll notice that some of my posts have the jpeg displayed, others have a hyperlink to the image. AFAIK i was doing the same thing each time!

Cheers
